Now I want GM to make a proper Caprice Wagon/Roadmaster Estate again. Base it on the SS. And none of this 5-seat garbage. I want to experience a rear-facing back bench again.

I get the feeling rear facing back benches are going to be awfully difficult to slip past the NHTSA these days.

So do I. I don't care; I want one in a wagonified SS.

Because what sells better than an Australian imported sports car for $46k than a wagon version.
Not saying I wouldn’t love the idea but GM has already show they don’t care about the SS, why would they bring its wagon cousin to the states?

There is no reason for them to bring it over. The only ones who want it are those who would only buy it used.
I don't care, I want one.

Tesla did it, so it can still be done!

That would be glorious. I would buy that, and yes, I would buy it new. That makes you, me, and literally dozens more!

in the model X?
I’ll believe when I see it on the road.

At the moment I can't buy it new. If they saved it for 2-3 years from now I would buy new too.

No, the Model S has an optional pair of rear facing jump seats. I was thrilled when I saw them!

that’s nutty.
Good for them
and for Musk not giving a shit about spending a crapload of money to get it through NHTSA haha
